Introduction
Chime allows for real estate agents and teams to partner with mortgage lenders for a seamless process in providing leads with home-buying and loan resources all at once. The lender access is slightly limited because it does not use the established seat limit available with a purchased package. Lenders/Agents will have access to add notes, @tag, and collaborate with other Chime Users within their team. Lenders do not have the ability to add additional contact information, delete the lead, etc.
*Only the Team Owner/Admin can add lender access.
Lender Types
When inviting a lender there are two types of lender access to choose from:
- Cost Sharing Plan. With this option, you can split the cost of the Chime CRM and/or Chime lead generation campaigns. You can only select one lender to split 50/50 with. Leads brought in via a lead generation campaign that is being cost-shared will be sent to the lender automatically.
- Flex Plan. There is no limit to the number of lenders that can be added under this option. You can choose to route leads to certain lenders via lead routing rules or manually assign them.

Chime Paid Leads + Lender Lead Routing
If a lender is set up on a cost-sharing relationship with the agent, specifically for lead generation purposes, they will automatically have the leads assigned to them without having to set up lead routing rules manually. The lender must be sharing buyer/seller lead generation in order for the automatic assignment to happen. If they are only sharing the cost of the CRM, leads will not be sent to that lender automatically. See Lender Lead Routing Rules for more information regarding lead routing.
