To create a new email template, simply log in to your Chime CRM and follow the steps outlined below.
Go to the Settings page, and under the Features section, click on Email Templates. Here, you will find My Email Templates, Team Email Templates, Welcome Email, as well as Email Templates Report.
My Email Templates
Under the My Email Templates tab, click the + Add Template button. A window will then appear where you can choose a name and subject for your new email template, and then start writing the body of your email.
Use the available options to format, add hyperlinks, attach a file, use HTML code, add a YouTube/BombBomb video, an emoji, or even add in listings. There are also lead and agent variables (merge fields) that can be used to replace that variable with the corresponding information when the email is sent (reference Email and Smart Plan Variable Definitions).
Click on "Preview" to see what the email will look like, "Cancel" to stop building the template, or "Save" once you’ve finished writing your email and are ready to use it elsewhere.
Email Attachment Limit
The maximum size limit for email attachments is 20 MB. Depending on the size of the file, however, Chime has two different methods of attachment outlined here:
1. If the attachments uploaded are less than 5 MB, the email attachments will be added directly as an attachment to the email:
2. If the attachments uploaded are more than 5 MB, Chime will convert the attachments into download links that are then inserted into the email:
Email Templates Report
After saving your email templates, you can check the data for these templates in Email Templates Report. Here, you will be able to see the following:
- Type (Team Template or My Template)
- Total Sent
- Open Rate (Total)
This information will help you to better understand the communication quality with your leads and give you the means to work on improving your team's lead conversion via conversation and engaging content.
Four types of email templates are controlled from this section in the settings: (1) Welcome Email, (2) Property Alert, (3) Market Snapshot, and (4) Market Report.

Property Alert, Market Snapshot, and Market Report
The basic text content in these emails can be adjusted by clicking on the "Edit" icon for the template that is to be adjusted. The main structure and content in the email cannot be adjusted because it will contain either the properties in the alerts, the snapshot information, or market report details.
