Introduction
It can be frustrating calling leads when it goes straight to voicemail. Recording a new message every time is not only tedious but time-consuming as well. Chime can help you save time by allowing you to pre-record voice messages for a more effective use of your time.
To access these options, navigate to Settings > Dialer > Manage Dialer > Voice Message.
Record an Outbound Call Voice Message
*This feature is included in all Chime call packages.
To add a new Outbound Call Voice Message, click on the "Add" button. You can record a total of five messages within the Outbound Call Voice Message category.
In order to record the message, you will need to enter your phone number and then you will receive a call with step by step instructions to record the message. Give the voice message a name and then click on the blue "Save" button. The name can always be adjusted later.
Use the Outbound Call Voice Messages
For outbound calls, you can leave a recorded voicemail instead of recording a new one every time. After selecting the option, the names of the recordings you have made will appear for you to choose from. After dropping your voice message, the call will disconnect automatically. Make sure to only drop your voice message after the answering system triggers the "beep."
Record an Inbound Call Voice Message
*This feature is only available on the Accelerator and Unlimited call packages
A default always needs to be selected with the star. You can record up to five voice messages to be available for inbound calls.
To record a new message, click on the "Add" button:
In order to record the message, you will need to enter your phone number and then you will receive a call with step by step instructions to record the message. Give the voice message a name and then click on the blue "Save" button. The name can always be adjusted later.
Use the Inbound Call Voice Messages
*This feature is only available on the Accelerator and Unlimited call packages
