The "Registration Pop-up Trigger Rule" refers to the ability that you have as a Chime user to customize exactly when the forced registration pop-up will appear on your Chime IDX website to capture lead information for you to use for follow-up.
Edit Trigger Rule
First, navigate to CMS Tool > Settings > Lead Capture > Registration Pop-up Trigger Rule.
Trigger Registration On
The first thing that you need to do is choose the page(s) where you want to trigger the forced registration pop-up. Chime recommends doing this on the Listing Detail Page at a minimum because this is the best landing page for conversion. Or, if you want to trigger the registration on other pages, you can choose "Selected Pages" and then select the pages that you want to trigger the registration pop-up on. Chime does not recommend selecting the "Sell" or "Home Evaluation" pages.
There is an option to "Never Trigger Registration Pop-Up" that you can select if you would like to never trigger the forced registration. This can be useful if you believe your clients will register for the ability to save listings and communicate with you without having to be convinced to do so.
How To Trigger
On this section, you will define how you want to trigger the forced registration. This can be done based on page views or based on browsing time. Depending on which one you select, you will see the option to determine either the number of page views or seconds of browsing time before the registration pop-up will trigger and force the lead to provide their information.
- If you chose "based on page views" and "Selected Pages," the page views will consist of views on the pages selected in the previous setting (Trigger Registration On).
- If you chose "based on page views" and "Listing Detail Pages," the page views will consist of the number of listing pages that are viewed.
- If you selected "based on browsing time," note that this time is the browsing time after a lead enters a certain page.
