Introduction
Chime users can collaborate on leads in a variety of ways using the Chime platform, even across Groups on an Enterprise account. This article will describe all of those options.
Summary
Lead Access
The first part to this process is to make sure all of those who need to be able to collaborate have access to the lead. Two things can affect these so be sure to review each of the following articles to understand how it works:
In summary, as long as a user has access to a lead, collaboration can happen between those users within the lead profile.
Collaborating / Sharing Notes
By design, all notes and logs will be shared with anyone who has access to a lead. When a note is made, all individuals in the "Assigned To" section (and those with admin access) will have access to view that note. No notifications will be sent to those individuals by default, however. Instead, in order to send a notification to another user with access to that lead, users can @tag each other in notes to send notifications to the other party by doing the following within a lead profile for a specific lead. . .
This is what the sender would see when doing the @tag:
When the @tag is used, a push notification will be triggered via the app/web as well as via email to the person tagged. This is the ideal way to communicate between participating parties.
On the receiving end, this is what the web app notifications will look like:
The email notification looks like this and includes a link to the lead profile as well as a copy of the note:
The mobile app notifications look like this:
Tasks
Tasks can be assigned to anyone who has access to that lead.
The assignee will then receive a notification that a task is assigned to them. There is no email notification for tasks, but there is a web app and mobile app notification.
Here is what the web app notification for a task assignment looks like:
Here is what the mobile app notification looks like:
Document Sharing
Any documents added to a lead profile will be accessible to any user who has access to that lead.
Lender Collaboration
