One of many reasons you likely use the Chime CRM is to maintain contact with your database. Utilize the mass email and text function in Chime to do so.
There are a a few limitations to be aware of when sending out mass emails and texts. These are all outlined below.
Mass Email Limitations
Leads Without Email Addresses
This is an obvious one, but the system will make you aware of how many leads do not have valid email addresses to send emails to. "Valid" is a key word here as any invalid emails that have been marked as such will not be available to send emails to with the mass email action.
You will be unable to email leads that have unsubscribed. You will see a note like this one when attempting to email leads in your database that have unsubscribed:

Currently, you are only able to send a mass email to a maximum of 200 recipients at a time. If you select more than that many leads (with valid email addresses), you will see a warning appear that looks like this:

The system will make you aware of how many leads do not have valid phone numbers to send text messages. "Valid" is a key word here as any invalid phone numbers that have been marked as such will not be available to send texts to with the mass text action.
Maximum Number of Text Recipients
Currently, you are only able to send a mass text to a maximum of 200 recipients at a time. If you select more than that many leads (with valid phone numbers), you will see a warning appear that looks like this:

To send a mass email, navigate to the People page, select the leads that you would like to email, and then click on the Mass Email button:
After choosing the option to Mass Email, you will be able to edit the email prior to sending it off. It will be sent as an individual conversation to every lead, not a mass email with everyone copied. You will definitely want to take advantage of any templates that you have pre-built as well as variables that can be used to reference a specific lead's name, etc. Learn more about variables HERE.
If you have family members associated with a lead and you would like to copy (CC) them on an email that you are sending out via the Mass Email function, you can do so by clicking on the CC all family members checkbox and those family members will be added to the email sent to that lead.
To send a mass text to your leads, simply navigate to the People page, select the leads that you would like to mass text, and then click on the Mass Text button at the left side:
You can then compile your text message which will be sent as individual conversations, not one group text. You will also want to take advantage of any text templates you have created as well as variables (learn more HERE) that can make the message more personal.
Sending the same content to many leads’ phone numbers at the same time may reduce the delivery rate of SMS and cause your virtual number to be blocked by your leads' carrier. We have added a timestamp at the end of each message to avoid getting the same content and avoid any issues with their carrier.
Another important tool to be aware of to send out emails and texts to your database of leads is with Smart Plans. You can use Smart Plans to automatically send out content. You can learn more about using Smart Plans at THIS link.
Another reason why you might consider using a Smart Plan to send out a mass email/text is to work around the maximum 200 recipients (outlined above in Limitations). For example, you can set up a Smart Plan and then adjust the Application Conditions so that you are targeting the specific leads that you want to mass email, check the option for whenever leads meet the specified conditions and then you will want to make sure that you include current applicable leads. Set up the Smart Plan with the content you want to apply, turn on Auto Apply, and then save the Smart Plan and it will find all matching leads to send the content to.
